Many people worry that if they love themselves they are being selfish. Real self love is not selfish! Or maybe it is, but if it is then it is needed.
If I have nothing to prove to those around me because I know who I am and myself worth, I no longer need to press upon others my ideas or my concepts. Thus I am able to accept those around me as they are.
As I no longer need validation outside of myself, I can act from my heart. Once I stop trying to prove my self worth, I understand that how others act speaks of who they are and not of who I am.
As I love me, I set my boundaries and speak from my heart ❤️ not to hurt others because I no longer need to prove anything but to allow my self to be.
As I love me and come to the realization that we are one, my love for others becomes love for myself and vice versa. With the same realization, we come to know that we are not in competition. Each one of us is trying to do their best and to experience their own self.
